General supplies for ALL music students (these are supplies that will be used for multiple classes) • Pencils (replenish as needed) 
• Manual pencil sharpener 
• Lined notebook paper (replenish throughout the year as needed 
• Black 1” 3-ring binder 
• 3-ring pencil pouch (will stay inside binder) 
• Clear sheet protectors 

Band – instrument specific supplies

We will have instrument try-outs to place students on instruments best suited for them shortly after the school year starts. If you already play or own an instrument, please make sure you acquire the following accessories. Most of these accessories will be provided to you upon renting an instrument. 

Woodwinds Required 
• Reeds (vandoren/rico) 
• Cork grease 
• Instrument swabs 
• Lyre & flip folder 
• Neck strap (saxophones) 
Recommended:
• Chromatic Tuner/metronome with tuner clip on

Brass Required

• General snare drum sticks (innovative/vic firth/pro mark)

• Pair of medium marimba mallets and/or pair of medium xylophone mallets (vic firth/innovative)
